About Basketball

Our basketball program focuses on the full and equal participation of all: Every child plays in every game. Participants are put onto teams within their age group. Practices are arranged by the coach at the YMCA and games are played at Fellowship Hall (Gym) First United Methodist Church. Participants are taught the basic skills of the game, team work, as well as positive character values of team sports and sportsmanship.

Join our Y- Basketball League

YMCA Winter Basketball League will begin in January 2012.

Teams practice two times a week and time will vary depending on Coach's availability. Teams play Saturday!

Age Groups

Tiny Division (Boys & Girls 5 – 6 yr olds)

Pee Wee Division (Boys & Girls 7 – 9 yr olds)

Girls Midget Division (10–14 yr olds) Boys Midget Division

Late Fees晚費: Between April 19 and April 26, 2010, a $15 late registration fee will be applied to all participants.

Enrollment fees cover the cost of Referees, Gym Rental, and Team Trophies.

A Y membership is required to participate in our Y-Basketball program
Program fees are non-refundable except when cancelled by the YMCA. Weather conditions that may cause closing and cancellation of practices are non-refundable.
