Annual
Campaign - the heat of YMCA's ability to serve EVERYONE...
YMCA ANNUAL CAMPAIGN
The
YMCA has a colorful history of developing programs to enrich the
lives of kids, families, and the communities. When some are left
out, because they cannot afford the reasonable fees the Y must charge,
all of us are a little poorer.
Providing
kids and families a safe and nurturing place to go, benefits everyone.
Introducing kids to experiences that will help them grow into responsible
adults makes the community a better place to live.
One
child at a time - One family at a time.
Membership
and fees at the West San Gabriel YMCA do not cover all costs to
provide programs. To ensure that no one is denied a chance to participate,
the YMCA goes to the community the first few months of each year
and asks for help.
This
annual Strong Kids Campaign seeks contributions from past and new
supporters in the community for the YMCA's Financial Assistance
Program. Funds from this effort are also used to support tried and
true Y program and to develop programs to meet emerging community
need.
Members
are encouraged to do a little more - join hands for a great result
and HUGE impact on what the YMCA can do for ALL members and participants.
This
will make possible more effective programs to meet the needs of
youth, adults and families, and to provide opportunities for self-improvement
and self-expression.
Together
we can spring our YMCA forward to greater service and program...be
a part of the solution!!
Please
get involved and help the YMCA help the kids by calling any Board
Member, the CEO, or Committee Member.
