| YMCA YOUTH BASKET BALL Join our popular recreation league. Our program concentrates on teaching the basic skills of basketball through practice and games. Practice is once a week with games once a week. Players will improve their skills in a safe and positive environment through the guidance of caring and trained volunteer coaches. Fees include jersey. team photo and trophy available for additional cost. (athletic shoes and attire required) Games are played, we win some and we lose some ...but there are no standings and no emphasis on winning. Games are competitive, but not at the cost of the league philosophy. Parents are expected to support the philosophy and ideas of the Program! COACHES NEEDED! The YMCA will train. You must be a YMCA member before you can register for our basketball season! Saturday Games Location: First United Methodist Church 9 N. ALmansor Street, Alhambra Weekly Practice Location: YMCA 401 E. Corto Street, Alhambra Costs: Facility Member: $85 Community Member: $95 Late Birds sign up after 3/16/07 will add $15 to the above fees.
